Hoy, las mercancías del centro de Colombia van directamente a los puertos marítimos, utilizando el costoso modo carretero, y no el modo fluvial o ferroviario. Los puertos secos en el Altiplano, el Eje Cafetero, Santander, Tolima Grande, etc., pueden alimentar los puertos multimodales del río Magdalena y el Tren de Occidente, para reducir fletes y tiempos de bodegaje, al implementar la multimodalidad, coordinar cargas y anticipar funciones aduaneras.Resumen
Abstract : Today, goods from center of Colombia, go directly to seaports, using the expensive, road transportation, not the fluvial or railway mode. The dry ports in the Altiplano, The Coffee Axis, Santander, Tolima Grande, and others, can power multimodal ports over Magdalena River and the western train, to reduce freights and warehousing times, at to implement the multimodality, coordinating loads and anticipate customs functions.Palabras clave
