The analysis of the mechanisms that allow to encourage the diffusion of clean energy innovations is a current research topic. Although in the literature it is possible to identify works that have shaped decision-making and social influence in the diffusion process, it is still necessary to incorporate elements of limited rationality into theories, use diffusion models in practical applications for specific industries, and analyze in depth the impact of the network structure on the diffusion process. In this PhD thesis, a methodology developed to evaluate the impact of strategies oriented to incentivize the diffusion of clean energy innovations based on social influence is presented. The methodology consists of 4 Phases: Definition of the problem, Configuration of the simulation model, Analysis of results, and Evaluation of the strategies of social influence. The sequential development of these stages allows the decision maker to carry out a complete analysis of the strategies considered, facilitating the comparison of the results in a qualitative and quantitative way. The results of this research are oriented to the development of new knowledge, to a better understanding of the phenomenon of diffusion of clean energy innovations and to the application of the methodology developed to specific cases with different innovations in different countries, which shows that it is an instrument that transcends to local applications and can be used in various scenarios.spa
