Anatomía y morfología comparada del desarrollo del ovario y fruto en la tribu Cyphostyleae (Melastomataceae), y su interpretación en un contexto filogenético

Abstract

En la familia Melastomataceae encontramos una correlación entre los caracteres posición del ovario y el tipo de fruto así: tribus con ovario libre presentan fruto capsular y tribus con ovario totalmente fusionado al hipanto, presentan fruto en baya. En la tribu Cyphostyleae se presenta una condición atípica en donde las flores son epíginas y el fruto es capsular. Mediante un estudio comparativo de la anatomía y morfología del ovario y del fruto a lo largo del desarrollo, se evaluaron las homologías primarias observadas en el proceso de desarrollo de botones, flores y frutos en dos especies de la tribu Cyphostyleae, comparándolas con seis especies de las tribus Blakeeae, Merianieae, Miconieae y Melastomeae. Se encontraron diferencias en el grado de fusión entre ovario e hipanto; en las características y distribución de tejidos. Se realizó un modelo de vascularización floral para cada especie. In Melastomataceae family there is a correlation between the characters ovary position and type fruit, then: tribes with ovary free presenting capsular fruit and tribes with ovary completely fused to the hypanthium, presenting fruit berry. In the tribe Cyphostyleae shows up an atypical condition where the flowers are epíginas and the fruit is capsular. Primary homology observed in the process of development of bellboys, flowers and fruits were evaluated by means of a comparative study of the anatomy and morphology of the ovary and of the fruit throughout the development in two species of the tribe Cyphostyleae, comparing them with six species of the tribes Blakeeae, Merianieae, Miconieae and Melastomeae. There were differences in the degree of fusion of ovary and hypanthium; the characteristics and distribution of tissues. We performed a floral vascularization model for each species. The observed characteristics were interpreted in a phylogenetic context.
