Abstract: This paper does determine the operational technical feasibility of Regional Transmission System (STR) and Local Distribution System (SDL) of Putumayo as an isolated Microred National interconnection. The meteorological conditions of the area are favorable to contem- plate four Small Hydroelectric Power Plants (PCHs) of nominal power 20 MVA and three solar photovoltaic plants (PVs) of 10 MVA. By means of a study of reliability of generation, on average 14.6 days a year there is a loss of load. For which, it is necessary to supply the missing generation through the National Interconnected System (SIN). The plants PCHs and PVs are located in the micro-grid, in such a way that the power losses are reduced and the critical times of instability to failures and line losses are increased.
