La violencia conyugal contra las mujeres en la ciudad de Pasto, 1890-1936

Abstract

Con las nuevas formas de hacer historia, se aborda el estudio del maltrato conyugal en contra de la mujer, con el único anhelo de contribuir al desarrollo social y cultural, pero fundamentalmente con el anhelo de hacer conocer aquella historia oculta de un grupo de la población tradicionalmente discriminado historia que hace poco ha empezado a escribirse por cuanto no se permitía y en ocasiones era intransigente. El escribir sobre este tema permite conocer como se desarrollaba la sociedad en su cotidianidad, permite rehacer aquellas dificultades por las que tuvieron que vivir aquellas mujeres, y conocer la manera de cómo enfrentaron la discriminación a la que estaban sometidas y expuestas. La investigación permitió analizar las diferentes normas que se tejieron alrededor de las mujeres y hombres involucrados en las situaciones de violencia conyugal. Se analizó, procesó y estructuró los diferentes resultados, lo que permito conocer la situación de la mujer de la época, su relación con la realidad y las posibles reacciones frente a la misma./Abstract. With the new ways of doing history, there is approached the study of the conjugal mistreatment in opposition to the woman, with the only longing of contributing to the social and cultural development, but fundamentally with the longing of making know that secret history of a group of the population traditionally discriminated history that it does little has started being written since it was not allowed and in occasions it was intransigent. To write on this topic allows to know since the company was developing in his commonness, it allows to re-do those difficulties for which those women had to live, and know the way of how they faced the discrimination to which they were submitted and exposed. The investigation allowed to analyze the different procedure that were woven about the women and men involved in the situations of conjugal violence. It was analyzed, processed and structured the different results, what I allow to know the situation of the woman of the epoch, his relation with the reality and the posible reactions opposite to the same one.
