dc.description.abstractLas ondas gravitacionales son un efecto físico que se ha medido con gran precisión en laboratorios como LIGO, el objetivo de este trabajo fue estudiar la propagación de dichas ondas en la teoría de Einstein-Cartan-Sciama-Kibble, la cual es una generalización de la teoría de la relatividad general de Einstein. Para esto, primero introducimos todos los objetos matemáticos que usamos a lo largo de todo el trabajo. Después obtuvimos las ecuaciones de campo para hacer perturbaciones y llegar a la ecuación de propagación de la onda. Encontramos que la relación de dispersión coincide con los datos ´ observacionales, pero existe una propagación anómala de la amplitud y polarización. ´ Por ultimo usamos un modelo simple para estimar que tan relevante es esta desviación comparada con la predicha por Relatividad General. dc.description.abstractGravitational waves are a physical effect that has been measured with high precision in laboratories such as LIGO. The objective of this work was to study the propagation of these waves in the Einstein-Cartan-Sciama-Kibble theory, this is a generalization of the Einstein’s general theory of relativity.
