With jump tests and anthropometric measurements, the neuromuscular state is monitored in individual and group sports, particularly in university sports, there is no follow-up of variables specific to sports gestures, especially at the University of Santander, Bucaramanga campus, there is a research gap regarding this . Therefore, the purpose of this work is to identify the correlation between the neuromuscular state of the lower limbs and the anthropometric measurements in the vertical jump of the athletes of the volleyball team of the University of Santander, Bucaramanga Methodology: Quantitative, correlational cross-sectional study that uses the non-probability sampling technique for convenience. The variables are anthropometric measurements and jump against movement. Statistical analyzes were performed using the IBM SPSS Statistical Software (Version 20., IBM, Armonk, USA), using correlation coefficients (Pearson - Spearman) depending on the distribution of each variable. Results: 19 volleyball players participated, 10 male and 9 female, with a mean age of 20.3 ± 2.6 years, height 1.7 ± 0.1 Mt, weight 67.1 ± 13.4 Kg and BMI 23.2 ± 3.1. A correlation is evident in the following variables: Age / Jump height, Peak speed, RDF in the braking phase with (r2=.638; p=0.003), (r2=.618; p=0.005), (r2=, 578; p=0.010) respectively, height / jump height, peak velocity, RDF with (r2=-.662; p=0.002), (r2=.643; p=0.003), (r2=.550; p= 0.015). Conclusion: According to the data analysis that underlies this study, it is possible to find the existence of a positive correlation between the neuromuscular state of the lower limbs and the anthropometric characteristics of the volleyball players, which constitutes an important input for the design. training programs and injury prevention.eng
