Resumen
Este trabajo pretende mejorar la calidad de aprendizaje, a través del estudio de un tema específico de las Ciencias Naturales: “los Ecosistemas”; empleando para ello, metodologías de enseñanza-aprendizaje activas. Para su desarrollo, esta investigación se realizó en la Sede Principal de la Institución Educativa General Santander, ubicada en el Corregimiento de Villa-Colombia, Municipio de Jamundí, con dos grupos de estudiantes de grado séptimo; en un grupo se trabajó con un enfoque cooperativo – colaborativo y el otro grupo, aprendizaje basado en problemas. Se complementó el trabajo con el análisis de las características socio-económicas a saber: nivel de escolaridad de los padres y tipo de elemento con que cuentan los educandos para realizar sus labores académicas en la casa; comparando además, la incidencia de estos factores en su rendimiento escolar. Al finalizar, se observó que, los estudiantes del grupo con el que se implementó metodologías de enseñanza-aprendizaje trabajo cooperativo-colaborativo, presentaron mejor desempeño académico, que los estudiantes del grupo con los que se trabajó metodología de enseñanza-aprendizaje basada en problemas. aqui termina el resumen en español.
//Abstract: This Thesis looking to improve the quality of learning through the study of a specific issue of Science: Ecosystems, employing for this purpose, teaching-learning activity. For their development this investigation was conducted at the Head Office of School General Santander, located in the township of Villa-Colombia, Township Jamundí, with two groups of students in grade 7, a group with were cooperative work - collaborative and other group problem-based learning. Similarly, an analysis of the socio-economic characteristics, educational level of parents and type of item that the students have to make their academic work was done in the house, besides comparing the incidence of these factors in its performance school. At the end, it was observed that students group that teaching- learning cooperative - collaborative work was implemented showed better academic performance, students from the group with which teaching- learning -based problems are worked.
