Resumen
El Trabajo Final se realizó en la Institución Educativa Ateneo, Sede Principal, Jornada de la mañana, del municipio de Pradera, Valle del Cauca, en el año lectivo 2010-2011, con el objetivo principal de estimular el desarrollo de habilidades metacognitivas en los estudiantes de grado séptimo, en pro del mejoramiento del rendimiento académico en Ciencias Naturales, a través de un tema específico en el área. Para su desarrollo se tomaron dos grupos, donde inicialmente se indagó sobre los aspectos socioeconómicos y socio-afectivos; luego, a través de la aplicación de un pre-tes y un pos-test se indagó sobre las estrategias de estudio más empleadas y la presencia de habilidades metacognitivas en la población objeto de estudio, antes y después de aplicar en cada grupo una estrategia de aprendizaje diferente: estrategia de aprendizaje autónomo en un grupo y estrategia tradicional en el otro grupo. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que la estrategia de aprendizaje autorregulado, a partir del estudio de un texto científico, junto con la implementación de estrategias de estudio de forma reflexiva en el aula,favorecen el desarrollo de habilidades metacognitivas en los estudiantes.
//Abstract: The final work eas worked in the Institucion Educativa Ateneo, in Pradera Town – Valle del Cauca, period 2010 – 2011, with the main goal of estimulate the developed of metacognitions abilities for students of seventh grade of Institucion Educativa Ateneo, Headquarter, day morning, to favor of improvement of academic performance in Natural Science area, specific topic it area. To develop, take two groups, which initially was investigated about socioeconomics’ and socioaffectives aspects, then, although pre test and post test applied, I did a investigated about the strategies of study more usually and its presence of metacognitions abilities on populations target of study, before and after of each group a different strategy of learning: Strategy Of Autonomous Learning to one group and Traditional Strategy to other group. The scores got, reflected that the strategy of self – regulated learning, from study of a scientific book, joint to implementation of strategies of reflexively study in classroom, give advantages to develop of metacognitions habilities to students.
