Resumen
Esta investigación tiene el objetivo de analizar el personaje femenino en algunos cuentos escritos por mujeres hispanoamericanas dentro del periodo de 1979-1999. El definir un tiempo histórico implica establecer un diálogo entre los procesos socio-políticos y la creación del objeto de estudio. Se parte de la premisa que en esta literatura se encuentra una representación de unas condiciones que interactúan con la formación cultural y social perteneciente a la época. Pero son las circunstancias literarias las que promueven la utilización del género cuento como la forma más acorde a las necesidades de expresión de las autoras. De aquí surge una manifestación literaria que muestra unas singularidades de tal manera que se pueda hablar de la categoría cuento femenino latinoamericano.
Abstract: The aim of my research is to analyze the configuration of female characters in stories written by Hispanic women from 1979-1999. Defining a historical time involves establishing a dialogue between the socio-political processes and the creation of the object of study. It starts from the premise that this literature is a representation of conditions of class, race and gender, connected with the social and cultural education of the late twentieth century. But the literary circumstances are what promoted the use of the gender story as the most consistent form according to the needs of the female authors' expressions, and out of this, there was a literary manifestation, with its own communicative style, showing singularities so that now we can talk about the category, Latin-American story women literature.
