Resumen
La presente investigación indaga por la recepción del marxismo en Colombia en el periodo que va de 1919 a 1930. Este trabajo se inscribe en la tendencia de estudios historiográficos asociados a la historia intelectual que se centra en la recepción y circulación de las ideas, en particular el proceso de la difusión del marxismo que, bajo distintas formas y ritmos, se extendió por casi todo el planeta, desde finales del siglo XIX. Formulamos, que la recepción del marxismo en este periodo fue un proceso activo en el que participaron distintos sujetos y a su vez modificó el lenguaje de intelección, las prácticas y los referentes simbólicos de los socialistas colombianos. Se estudia la recepción del marxismo tomando como referente las organizaciones socialistas y comunistas que aparecen en este periodo. Además, se considera el papel de un variado grupo de intelectuales que se acercan al marxismo que van desde autodidactas que utilizan el periodismo y promoción de folletos, intelectuales cosmopolitas que tienen formación en Europa y las nuevas generaciones intelectuales que aparecen en la escena pública. De otro lado, los ecos locales de la Revolución Rusa y su papel en la modificación de lenguajes y las prácticas de los socialistas. Finalmente, el papel de la cultura impresa como el periodismo y la folletería socialista. Con esto se intentó ofrecer una interpretación sobre el lugar del marxismo en los cambios del campo cultural y político colombiano en un periodo que estuvo marcado por transformaciones estéticas, políticas y culturales
Abstract. This work investigates the reception of marxism in Colombia during the period 1919-1930. This research is part of historiographical work and intellectual history, it focuses on the reception and exchange of ideas. In particular this work focuses on the dissemination of Marxism which extends around the world since the end of the 19th century. We consider that reception of marxism was an active process in which was changed the intellection language, their practices and the symbolic references in Colombian socialists. The reception of Marxism was studied taking as reference to Socialist and Communist organization that appeared in this period. In addition, the role of a diverse group of intellectuals approaching Marxism ranging from self-taught journalists and the promotion of pamphlets, cosmopolitan intellectuals trained in Europe and the new intellectual generations on the public stage are considered. On the other hand, it is argued that ways in the Russian revolution was filed was changed the theoretical and practical tools in the colombians socialist. In this process new languages and symbols that would determinate the new identity of the Socialists was incorporated. Finally, this work studies the role of print culture as journalism and socialist pamphlets. With this we tried to offer an interpretation on the place of Marxism in the changes of the Colombian cultural and political field in a period that was marked by aesthetic, political and cultural transformations.
