La evolución tectonica de la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta (SNSM), es decifrada mediante la integracion de diversas tecnicas geo-termocronologicas, en muestras roca fuente y detriticas, documentando eventos de metamorfismo y magmatismo y una exhumación posterior a nivel regional, en un modelo geodinámico desde el Paleozoico tardío hasta el Mioceno.
The tectonic evolution of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta (SNSM) is deciphered from the integration of geo-thermochronological techniques, in bedrock and detrital samples, documenting magmatic and metamorphic events and late exhumation processes in a regional scope, in a geodynamic model from the late Paleozoic to Miocene times.
