Resumen
Este trabajo presenta, en primer lugar, definiciones y normas internacionales relacionadas con indicadores de calidad del suministro identificados en la resolución 098 de 2008. Luego se identifica los circuitos con peores índices de calidad del suministro par. En segunda instancia, se identifica los circuitos de la red de distribución, del operador del servicio de energía eléctrica CHEC, con peores índices de calidad del suministro con el fin de identificar la magnitud del problema. Finalmente, se exponen conceptos relacionados con aplicaciones de automatización como la principal solución para disminuir la ocurrencia y duración de desconexiones fortuitas la calidad y de esta manera aumentar los ingresos del Operador de Red
