Summary
Se reconocieron cuatro eventos mineralizantes: Evento 1: Sericita, anquerita, cuarzo masivo y microcristalino, adularia, albita, esfalerita, galena, pirita fina, pirrotina y calcopirita. Evento 2: Molibdenita, magnetita, ilmenita, pirita arseniosa, esfalerita, pirita gruesa, cuarzo mosaico fino, masivo, microcristalino y flamboyante, turmalina y sericita. Evento 3: Oro, tenantita (argentífera), esfalerita, turmalina, pirita fina y gruesa, calcopirita, y cuarzo flamboyante, mosaico, masivo y peine. Evento 4: Pirita gruesa, pirita arseniosa, hematita, pirita fina y cuarzo microcristalino (textura brechosa), y sericita.
Summary
Abstract: Gold mineralizations in the Vetas area are located 92 km NE of Bucaramanga city. They are associated to auriferous quartz veins, which cross the Bucaramanga gneiss, and tonalitic to quartz-monzonitic porphyric rocks. In this study, four mineralizing events were identified: Event 1: Sericite, ankerite, massive and microcrystalline quartz, adularia, albite, sphalerite, galena, fine pyrite, pyrrothite and chalcopyrite. Event 2: Molybdenite, magnetite, ilmenite, arsenious pyrite, sphalerite, coarse pyrite, fine mosaic quartz, massive quartz, microcrystalline quartz, flamboyant quartz, tourmaline and sericite. Event 3: Gold, argentiferous tennantite, sphalerite, tourmaline, coarse and fine pyrite, chalcopyrite, mosaic quartz, flamboyant quartz, massive quartz, druse quartz. Event 4: Coarse pyrite, arsenious pyrite, hematite, fine pyrite, microcrystalline quartz (brecciated texture) and sericite. After gold-bearing mineralizations, quartz druses were developed. The deposit was formed between 200°C - 330°C and 150 to 300 meters depth, from neutral and slightly saline mineralizing fluids. Isotopic analyses of sulfur (
