Objective: The assessment of the nutritional profile in terms of body composition and dietary habits of the athletes from the teams of judo, karate, Olympic lifting and taekwondo of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia on Bogotá. Methodology: Observational, descriptive, cross-sectional study. Information on foodstuffs (CFCA) and body composition (% MG, %MM and somatotype) was collected in students of the National University of Colombia belonging to the selections of judo, karate, Olympic lifting and taekwondo (n = 55). The data was analyzed in the R and XLSTAT software. Results: The average of% MG was M: 19.37% and H: 10.21%. For the% MM the average values were H: 44.75% and M: 36.18%. The predominant somatotype in men is the endomorphic mesomorph and in women the endomorph mesomorph. A daily consumption of milk (56.8%), rice and pasta (61.4%), cereal derivatives (59.1%), egg (47.7%), sweeteners such as sugar, panela and honey (43.2%). On the contrary, zero consumption of viscera (45.45%), light foods (59.1%) and nutritional supplements (47.7%) are obtained. The selection, family income and money allocated to food are possibly related to the% MG and MM of the individuals evaluated. Conclusions: The body composition selected similarities with evaluated populations practicing these sports at a professional level. The food intake was varied, presenting a greater daily consumption of food sources of protein, such as dairy and egg and a zero consumption of nutritional supplements
