Abstract

El siguiente trabajo explora la cuestión de las (no) despedidas en épocas de contagio a partir de tres casos de estudio en Ecuador, Canadá y Colombia. Es con estos ejemplos, puestos en la página, que se comienza la reflexión sobre el testimonio y el género de la Despedida. Acá, se propone que el hecho de narrar de forma testimonial implica en sí un “presentarse”, un seleccionar, un recordar y olvidar y, por lo tanto, un uso de diversos dispositivos literarios que desdibujan las fronteras entre realidad y ficción, y también esa misma dicotomía. The following work explores the question of (non) goodbyes in times of contagion based on three case studies in Ecuador, Canada, and Colombia. With these examples, placed on the page, the reflection on the testimony and the genre of the Farewell begins. Here, it is proposed that the fact of narrating in a testimonial way implies a “presenting oneself”, a selection, a remembering and forgetting, and, therefore, a use of various literary devices that blur the boundaries between reality and fiction, and also that dichotomy.
