Abstract
This chant is sung in the early morning. This chant is related to the woodpecker. The singer sings this chant as a farewell to the maloca dance, in the early morning, to go to his house. (Anastasia’s original cassette 09-10). This chant is part of the collection of chants from the Yuakɨ Murui-Muina (fruit ritual) of the Murui people, which was made by artist and researcher Anastasia Candre Yamakuri with singer Alfonso Jimaido Jɨmuizɨtofe.
