Abstract

Earth is a dynamic system connected from the Core to the Magnetosphere, which is continuously interacting with the Solar Wind. The magnetic, electric, and gravitational fields generated by the Earth and the other layers such as the Ionosphere and the Magnetosphere, being changing over time, generate forces associated with fields induced in the Earth's crust that are observable by means of terrestrial measuring equipment such as the Gravimeter, the Magnetometer, the Geomagnetic station, and the Magnetotelluric equipment. In order to estimate the effect of these forces, the analysis of Geophysical information was carried out and the anomalies in the Earth Crust of the Gravitational Field and the Magnetic Field over the Basin of the Eastern Plains of Colombia were determined and the Electrical Resistivity of the subsoil was estimated at a point in Yopal. The analysis of information from the Geomagnetic station of Fúquene was also carried out to obtain the temporal variations of the Geomagnetic Field over a time window and with these results the Induced Geoelectric Field on the Earth's surface was finally calculated at a point in the Yopal area whose value is between -2 mV/km and 2 mV/km for a time window of one month and 15 days. Areas were identified within the Eastern Plains Basin where the Gravity and Magnetic field anomalies are larger and more intense, contributing to a more intense Geoelectric field induced on the surface of the Crust than in other areas.
