La crisis ocurrida durante el segundo semestre del año 2016 que conllevó a la intervención y liquidación de las entidades más importantes dedicadas a la administración y comercialización de cartera extra bancaria no solidaria en Colombia y el impacto sobre los recursos de varios inversionistas es evidencia, en principio, de la poca regulación existente en torno a esta actividad. Por ello, se considera importante analizar la evolución y desarrollo histórico, teórico y regulatorio de estas actividades, para identificar las principales características que conllevaron a la mencionada crisis. Lo anterior, en torno al caso particular de la compañía Elite International Américas
The occurred crisis during the second half of 2016 that involved the intervention and liquidation of the most important entities dedicated to the intermediation of the non-solidarity non-bank portfolio in Colombia and the impact on the resources of various investors evidence the little existing regulation around this activity. For this reason, it considers it important to analyze the evolution and historical, theoretical and regulatory development of these activities, to identify the main characteristics that lead to the aforementioned crisis.
