| dc.description.abstract | Este estudio tiene como objetivo principal determinar la relación entre las principales prácticas pedagógicas y la deserción universitaria en el programa curricular de Administración de Empresas de la Facultad de Administración de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, sede Manizales. Para llevar a cabo esta investigación, se diseñó un instrumento de recolección de datos validado mediante evaluación de expertos y medido en la confiabilidad a través del Alfa de Cronbach, garantizando coherencia interna del cuestionario aplicado a los estudiantes. Se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo y el análisis se realizó con el software estadístico SPSS, donde se emplearon tablas de frecuencia, correlaciones bivariadas, mapas de calor y pruebas de Chi-cuadrado para examinar las relaciones entre variables pedagógicas y la deserción. Los resultados revelaron que prácticas pedagógicas como la falta de claridad en la instrucción, la falta de retroalimentación formativa, y la insuficiente adaptación pedagógica a las necesidades individuales de los estudiantes tienen una influencia significativa en las tasas de deserción. Además, los estudiantes que experimentaron una mayor personalización y enfoque en la evaluación formativa mostraron una mayor retención. | dc.description.abstract | The main objective of this study is to determine the relationship between key pedagogical practices and university dropout rates in the Business Administration curriculum at the Faculty of Administration, National University of Colombia, Manizales campus. To carry out this research, a data collection instrument was designed and validated through expert evaluation, with its reliability measured using Cronbach’s Alpha, ensuring internal consistency of the questionnaire administered to students. A quantitative approach was used, and the analysis was conducted with SPSS statistical software, employing frequency tables, bivariate correlations, heat maps, and Chi-square tests to examine the relationships between pedagogical variables and dropout rates. The results revealed that pedagogical practices such as lack of clarity in instruction, absence of formative feedback, and insufficient pedagogical adaptation to individual student needs significantly influence dropout rates. Additionally, students who experienced greater personalization and focus on formative assessment showed higher retention. This study provides a comprehensive approach to how pedagogical practices can be improved to reduce dropout rates and promote academic success in the Business Administration program. | eng |
