Resumen
El presente trabajo es una propuesta didáctica para la enseñanza de la estadística descriptiva en el grado 5º. Para la construcción de la propuesta se hizo un análisis de los Lineamientos Curriculares en Matemáticas, los Estándares Básicos de Competencia en Matemáticas, los Derechos Básicos de Aprendizaje, los Planes de Área de la Institución y Expedición Currículo; además de 4 libros de texto de Matemáticas en el grado 5º y referentes teóricos de la enseñanza de la estadística, junto con un cuestionario autoadministrado a los docentes para identificar su conocimiento conceptual y didáctico de la estadística. La propuesta busca complementar la labor didáctica y pedagógica de los docentes de ese curso, a través de una prueba diagnóstica, dos cartillas con guías didácticas para el docente y el estudiante basadas en situaciones problema, y una prueba de salida; a fin de contribuir al aprendizaje significativo de la estadística descriptiva y la obtención de mejores resultados en las pruebas estandarizadas.
Abstract: In this thesis we present a didactic approach for teaching Statistics in Fifth Grade. For building the proposal, an analysis of the curricular Lineament of Mathematics, the Basic Standards of Competence in Mathematics, the Basic Rights of Learning, the Area’s Plan at the School and Curriculum Expedition; 4 book texts for Mathematics in Fifth grade, some theory references about teaching Statistics and a self-administered questionnaire to teachers for identifying their conceptual and didactic knowledge, was made. The approach looks for complementing teacher’s didactic and pedagogical work in that grade, through a diagnostic test, two didactical guides based on problem situations for the teacher and the student, and an exit test. Those where made for promoting significant learning in Descriptive statistics and getting better results in standardized tests.
