| spa |
| dc.description.abstract | This study examines the factors that enhance the sustainability of innovation-driven ventures in Manizales through a qualitative approach. Twelve semi-structured interviews with local entrepreneurs were conducted, and content analysis was performed using Atlas.ti to identify patterns and relationships among emerging categories. The findings highlight six main factors: strategic alliances, market need, knowledge of the regional context, growth strategies, innovation in solutions, and institutional support. These are reinforced by transversal elements such as mixed financing, adaptive capacity, and process digitalization. Based on the results, a three-layer conceptual model is proposed: (i) context and market, (ii) strategic execution, and (iii) ecosystem support. The interaction among these layers fosters venture continuity, provided there is coherence between the value proposition, growth pathways, and institutional backing. The study concludes that combining continuous validation, income diversification, and formal alliances, together with policies and programs that connect ventures to external markets and provide flexible financing, strengthens the entrepreneurial ecosystem in intermediate cities such as Manizales. | eng |
