//Abstract: Currently, some theoretical and practical considerations about Knowledge management (GECO, in Spanish) have not been deeply discussed in the Management discipline. Main Problems are generated when an entrepreneurial GECO is proposed for nonprofit organizations, which are different of firms. Therefore, it is settled a trend that confuses both modes of existence. Present text starts from the difference of each own type of organization existence way, then it refers to the GECO’s nature in organizations, and finally it deals with the theoretical framework of this management model.
