La lesión renal aguda adquirida en el hospital es una importante causa de morbimortalidad a nivel mundial, existen datos escasos acerca del comportamiento de esta patología en nuestro país. Objetivos. Describir las características clínicas, sociodemográficas y estado clínico al egreso, así como las medidas para la minimización del riesgo de los pacientes con lesión renal aguda intrahospitalaria, atendidos en el Hospital Universitario Nacional de Colombia en el período 2016-2017. Métodos. Estudio observacional, descriptivo, retrospectivo de un solo centro. Resultados. 82 casos cumplieron los criterios de inclusión. El 75% tenían 59 o más años; 63.3% sexo masculino y el área de ingreso al hospital fue sala general en el 84.15% de casos. 23.17% requirieron algún procedimiento quirúrgico y más del 30% presentaban morbilidad cardiovascular. 12.2% requirieron terapia de reemplazo renal (TRR) y la mortalidad general fue 25.6%. La estancia hospitalaria fue de 19 días en promedio. El retiro de la noxa se realizó en 43.9%. Conclusiones. En los casos que presentaron LRA AH, la mortalidad general fue 25.6%, ascendió a 90% en los que requirieron TRR. El retiro de noxa posterior al diagnóstico se realizó en menos de la mitad de los casos.spa

In-hospital acquired acute kidney injury is an important cause of morbidity and global mortality; there are few data about the behaviour of this pathology in our country. Purpose. To describe the clinical and socio-demographic characteristics and clinical state at discharge in patients with hospital -acquired acute kidney injury who were treated at colombia national university hospital between 2016 and 2017, as well as to describe the the actions to minimize the risk of hospital-acquired acute kidney injury in patients admitted to our hospital. methods: retrospective, descriptive, observational study of a single center. Results. 82 cases met the inclusion criteria. 75% were 59 years or older; 63% males and the area of hospital admission was general ward in 84.15% of cases. 23.17% of the patients require surgical procedures and more than 30% presented cardiovascular morbidity. 12.2% required renal replacement therapy (RRT) and the general mortality was 25.6%. the average hospital stay was 19 days. nephrotoxic removal was carried out in 43.9%. Conclusions. in patientes with ha-aki the general mortality was 25.6% and it rose to 90% in those who required rrt. nephrotoxic removal after diagnosis was achieved in less than half of the cases.spa
