dc.description.abstractEste trabajo de grado es una revisión sistemática que busca establecer la relación entre la medicina osteopática y la alimentación, para que, partiendo de ella, se puedan brindar unas recomendaciones nutricionales al paciente en búsqueda de optimizar su fisiología y los resultados de la medicina osteopática. En esta se establece la importancia del sistema gastrointestinal, el sistema inmune asociado al intestino (GALT), la migración de células inmunitarias desde GALT al cuerpo (efecto Homing), la fisiopatología de la inflamación aguda y crónica, las funciones del sistema fascial, la medicina osteopática y los efectos benéficos de la ciencia de los alimentos funcionales en la fisiología corporal. Se concluye de este trabajo que una adecuada alimentación potencia la autocuración y perpetúa los resultados de la medicina osteopática en el organismo del paciente. (Texto tomado de la fuente)spa
dc.description.abstractThis degree work is a scoping review that pursues to establish the relationship between osteopathic medicine and food; nutritional recommendations can be provided to the patient to improve their physiology and the osteopathic medicine results. It determines the importance of the gastrointestinal system, the gut-associated immune system (GALT), the immune cells migration from GALT to the body, the pathophysiology of acute and chronic inflammation, the functions of the fascial system, osteopathic medicine, and the beneficial effects of functional food science on body physiology. It is concluded from this work that an adequate diet enhances self-healing and perpetuates the results of osteopathic medicine in the patient’s body.eng
