Creación y pilotaje de un protocolo clínico basado en la Terapia de Aceptación y Compromiso para un equipo mixto de Ultimate Frisbee en Bogotá

dc.description.abstractLos deportistas tienen necesidades psicológicas particulares que afectan su desempeño dentro del escenario de entrenamiento y competición, pero además sobre su bienestar psicológico general. Las Terapias Contextuales proponen modelos interventivos para los aspectos comportamentales involucrados en el rendimiento, la toma de decisiones, la focalización de la atención y la motivación. Este proyecto plantea la creación de un protocolo clínico basado en la Terapia de Aceptación y Compromiso (ACT) y la técnica mindfulness. Se ejecutó su pilotaje con un diseño pre-experimental sin grupo control, en una muestra hombres y mujeres jugadores de Ultimate Frisbee en la ciudad de Bogotá. El protocolo consta de 5 sesiones de intervención más una de seguimiento, aplicando medidas pre-test, intermedia, pos-test y seguimiento, utilizando los instrumentos AAQ-II, CFQ, VQ, MAAS y PTQ-1 para evaluar los posibles cambios derivados de la aplicación del protocolo, sobre los indicadores de flexibilidad psicológica propuestos por ACT. Los resultados fueron evaluados a través de un ANOVA MR y el test de Friedman para el PTQ, que resultó no tener una distribución normal. Se obtuvieron diferencias estadísticamente significativas y tamaños del efecto grandes en las pruebas AAQ-II y CFQ. Para el VQ, el MAAS y el PTQ-1, no hubo diferencias estadísticamente significativas. El pilotaje del protocolo mostró que podría llegar a generar cambios en las variables de fusión cognitiva y evitación experiencial en la muestra de deportistas participantes. dc.description.abstractAthletes have specific psychological needs that affect their performance within the training and competition setting, as well as their overall sense of psychological well-being. Contextual Therapies propose intervention models for the behavioral aspects involved in performance, decision-making, attentional focus, and motivation. This project proposes the creation of a clinical protocol based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness techniques. Its pilot was executed with a pre-experimental design without a control group, using a sample of male and female Ultimate Frisbee players in the city of Bogotá. The protocol consists of 5 intervention sessions and one follow-up session, applying a pre-test, an intermediate test, a post-test, and a follow-up test. The instruments AAQ-II, CFQ, VQ, MAAS, and PTQ-1 were used to evaluate potential changes derived from the application of the protocol, specifically on the psychological flexibility indicators proposed by ACT. The results were assessed through an ANOVA MR and the Friedman test for PTQ, which showed a non-normal distribution. Statistically significant differences and large effect sizes were obtained in the AAQ-II and CFQ tests. However, there were no statistically significant differences in VQ, MAAS, and PTQ-1. The pilot of the protocol demonstrated that it could potentially induce changes in the variables of cognitive fusion and experiential avoidance in the sample of participating athletes. Adjustments should be made to the other evaluated variables and methodological and theoretical changes should be implemented for future research.eng
