La Intervención Relacional Basada en el Apego (IRBA) en formato virtual. Un estudio exploratorio con primera infancia

Abstract

La violencia intrafamiliar es una problemática que afecta a muchos niños en Colombia, alterando su desarrollo, sus sistemas de apego e impactando en diversas áreas de su funcionamiento. Para mitigar esos impactos se han propuesto diversas intervenciones, muchas de ellas centradas en promover el vínculo de apego con el cuidador. Una de estas propuestas es la Intervención Relacional Basada en el Apego (IRBA), la cual está dirigida a fomentar un apego seguro en los niños y niñas a partir del mejoramiento de la sensibilidad de cuidado, permitiendo crear seguridad y confianza en la relación entre los cuidadores primarios y sus hijos. La IRBA para esta investigación se desarrolló en un formato virtual con el fin de promover el acceso a esta intervención a un mayor número de familias en vulnerabilidad. Problema de investigación: identificar si hay cambios significativos en el ambiente familiar y la salud mental de los niños y niñas de 0 a 5 años luego de la aplicación de la IRBA adaptada a un formato virtual y si hay cambios en la capacidad reflexiva de los cuidadores primarios a lo largo de la intervención Método: El diseño de la investigación es de casos múltiples con medidas repetidas y tiene un alcance descriptivo, para lo cual se aplicó el “Cuestionario de Función Reflexiva Parental” (PRFQ) y dos medidas pre-post. aplicando el “Inventario HOME Infantes/Caminadores” y el “Cuestionario de Comportamiento Infantil (CBCL)”. La muestra estuvo conformada por 4 diadas (madres – hijos) y se realizó en un formato virtual en Colombia. Resultados: los análisis mostraron cambios estadísticamente significativos en la dimensión “Interés y Curiosidad” del cuestionario PRFQ, pero no hubo diferencias estadísticamente significativas para las variables del ambiente familiar y la salud mental del niño. Conclusiones: Luego de la aplicación de la IRBA en el formato virtual se puede señalar que la intervención tiene potencialidades en el mejoramiento de la salud mental infantil y en la función reflexiva parental. The sample consisted of 4 dyads (mothers - children) and was carried out in a virtual format in Colombia. Results: the analyzes showed statistically significant changes in the "Interest and Curiosity" dimension of the PRFQ questionnaire, but there were no statistically significant differences for the variables of the family environment and the child's mental health. Conclusions: After the application of the IRBA in the virtual format, it can be pointed out that the intervention has potential in improving children's mental health and the parental reflective function.
