El presente artículo forma parte de un estudio diagnóstico más amplio, realizado entre finales de 2007 e inicios de 2008, por un equipo de la Fundación Mujer y Futuro, bajo el título BRECHAS DE GÉNERO: DIAGNÓSTICO PARA LA FORMULACIÓN DE UN PLAN DE IGUALDAD PARA LAS MUJERES EN BUCARAMANGA, con el apoyo financiero de la Alcaldía de Bucaramanga. Aquí se incluye el apartado dedicado al análisis de la situación de las mujeres frente a distintas formas de violencia.
