Se hace una introducción general al método matricial de rigidez para el análisis de estructuras. El propósito es ilustrar todos los pasos del método, incluyendo el de la rotación de coordenadas. Para ello, se utilizará una de las estructuras más simples desde el punto de vista mecánico : una cadena de elementos sometidos a tensión axial. Igualmente, se muestra la solución completa del problema por medio del lenguaje MATLAB en un ejemplo concreto
Abstract : It is done a general introduction to the matrix stiffness method for the analysis of structures it is done. The purpose is to illustrate every step of the method, including the rotation of coordinates. For that, it is used one of the simplest structures from the mechanical point of view: a chain of elements subjected to axial tension. It also shows the complete solution of the problem through MATLAB language in a specific example
