The company has five bottling lines which produce approximately two million bottles daily. However, the plant was governed by corrective maintenance, which generated unexpected production stops due to the failure of some component, delays in maintenance times, downtime due to lack of spare parts, low availability and reliability of the machines, and high maintenance costs. Furthermore, lubrication was carried out empirically based on the lubricator's knowledge; there was no training or continuous training plan, nor an established lubrication plan with which the type of lubricant applied, the quantity and the quantity could be demonstrated and regulated. frequency in which it had to be applied, which increased the probability of lubrication failures and costs. The objective of this project is to develop a diagnosis and implement a comprehensive preventive and lubrication maintenance plan for the carbonated beverage production lines at the plant. The methodology selected for the development of this project is Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), which is divided into eight pillars that are addressed to achieve the expected efficiency in maintenance, both at a technical and administrative level. The main results obtained by planning and carrying out maintenance activities in a more organized manner are an increase in production efficiency, going from 58% to 79% on line No. 1, a reduction in unexpected stops by up to 50% and a reduction in lubrication costs close to 70 million pesos, generating historical data to analyze the behavior of components and failures similar to those that have already occurred in the future; allowing to achieve an optimal and efficient maintenance plan of great relevance for the optimal operation and profitability of the company.eng
