| spa |
dc.description.abstract | In this master's thesis, a mathematical model for optimizing the allocation in a distribution center using stochastic models is proposed. According to the state of the art, it was found that most of the mathematical models for optimizing the allocation consider storage capacity or the location of the facilities as their sole objective, with the main objective of optimizing the use of storage space and Operational costs This thesis, also carried out a literature search of those techniques that allow to respond to multi objective models, finding: genetic models and multi objective models. After analyzing those techniques, NSGA-II-Nondominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm is selected, which allows to respond to the objective of this master's thesis. The mathematical model is proposed taking into account the optimization of the storage space in the distribution center, the time required for the handling of the products and the operating costs incurred during the process. Finally, the proposed model is validated through a simulation in Java, using NetBeans IDE 8.2. obtaining significant results that allowed to fulfill the objectives of this master's thesis. | spa |
