| spa |
dc.description.abstract | The project focuses on designing a comprehensive LED lighting system for classified areas in an offshore oil reservoir, aiming to create a safe and efficient environment for workers. This system addresses critical areas such as internal circulations, the helipad, and emergency lighting. Specific objectives include conducting a detailed study of lighting requirements for internal circulations, considering visibility, orientation, and personnel safety. A specific lighting design for the helipad will be developed, considering maritime conditions, landing and takeoff protocols, and nocturnal visibility for safe operations. An emergency lighting system will also be designed to ensure visibility and safe evacuation in critical situations, complying with safety standards and regulations. Implementing an LED lighting design in an offshore oil reservoir addresses the need to ensure safe and efficient working conditions in highly specialized industrial environments. Adequate lighting is fundamental in preventing occupational risks, improving visibility, and responding effectively to emergencies. LED technology offers significant advantages, such as higher energy efficiency, extended lifespan, and reduced environmental impact, contributing to sustainability and regulatory compliance. Proper 9 Luz Segura en Operaciones Petroleras Marítimas con Iluminación LED para Áreas Clasificadas lighting in circulations and the helipad is essential for operational safety, personnel orientation, and compliance with air safety protocols. Furthermore, an emergency lighting system is crucial for safe evacuation and minimizing risks in critical situations. The Bay of Cartagena has been selected as the preferred location for the offshore oil reservoir due to its existing port infrastructure and proximity to urban centers like Cartagena city. This choice aims to minimize environmental impacts and maximize operational efficiency. | eng |
