Diseño de iluminación del puente La Balsa y vías de acceso en el Municipio de Puerto López, Meta, con enfoque en seguridad y desarrollo turístico

Abstract

El Puente La Balsa, ubicado en Puerto López (Meta), es una infraestructura estratégica para la movilidad regional y con alto potencial turístico dentro del corredor Villavicencio – Puerto Gaitán. Sin embargo, carece de un sistema de iluminación adecuado, lo que afecta la seguridad vial y limita su proyección como atractivo nocturno. Este proyecto propone un diseño de iluminación arquitectónica y vial, en cumplimiento con normativas nacionales (RETILAP 2024 y RETIE), integrando tecnologías eficientes y sostenibles que mejoren la visibilidad, reduzcan accidentes y fortalezcan la identidad turística de la región. The La Balsa Bridge, located in Puerto López (Meta), is a strategic infrastructure for regional mobility and holds significant tourism potential within the Villavicencio – Puerto Gaitán corridor. However, it currently lacks an adequate lighting system, which affects road safety and limits its projection as a night-time attraction. This project proposes an architectural and roadway lighting design, in compliance with national regulations (RETILAP 2024 and RETIE), integrating efficient and sustainable technologies to improve visibility, reduce accidents, and strengthen the touristic identity of the region. The intervention aims to establish the bridge as a representative landmark of the “Tourism Window of the Llanos”, while also paving the way for the future development of a riverfront boardwalk, fostering safety, recreation, and local economic growth.
