Abstract

Este proyecto final de maestría explora las condiciones de la arquitectura enfrentada al conflicto planteado por las infraestructuras viales. Reconoce que a su paso las mismas plantean un problema de desconexión y discontinuidad urbana.El proyecto propone el desarrollo de una macro estructura híbrida que hila los diferentes fragmentos de ciudad en distintos niveles de sección a partir de las siguientes acciones: superponiéndose a la infraestructura existente, definiendo el borde de culatas e interconectado la sección de la ciudad.La hibridación como estrategia es entendida como una agregación de partes, una mezcla de usos-funciones, y la capacidad de ajustarse al tejido urbano para disolverse y activarlo. Está determinada a partir de tres conceptos, la circulación en analogía con distintos tipos de calle, la estructura como una mixtura de distintos sistemas de soporte, y el programa que aloja distintos usos a partir de la yuxtaposición, el apilamiento y la indeterminación.Es importante resaltar que la particularidad del sitio es resultado de la puesta a prueba de la hipótesis de partida, y no de forma inversa. Es un sitio caracterizado en la ciudad por unas condiciones específicas, tejidos urbanos diversos, topografía pronunciada, discontinuidad y desconexión. This final master’s project explores the conditions of the architecture faced with the conflict posed by road infrastructure. Recognizes that in their wake they pose a problem of disconnection and urban discontinuity.The project proposes the development of a hybrid macrostructure that spins the different fragments of the city at different levels of section from the following actions: overlapping the existing infrastructure, defining the edge of cylinder heads and interconnecting the section of the city.Hybridization as a strategy is understood as an aggregation of parts, a mixture of uses-functions, and the ability to adjust to the urban fabric to dissolve and activate it. It is determined from three concepts, the circulation in analogy with different types of street, the structure as a mixture of different support systems, and the program that hosts different uses from juxtaposition, stacking and indeterminacy.It is important to highlight that the particularity of the site is the result of the test of the starting hypothesis, and not in reverse. It is a specific site in the city due to specific conditions, diverse urban fabrics, pronounced topography, discontinuity and disconnection. Turning it into an instrument for the project.
