| dc.description.abstract | In this research, I argue that a phenomenological understanding of the genesis of our relationship with sense must begin with a reconsideration of ourselves as living, animated bodies. Precisely, attending to this basic condition of ourselves, as living things that dynamically open themselves to the world, implies that we must turn our attention to the structuring character of our own animal condition as an essential aspect of our basic cognitive experience, understood as successful orientation in the environment. Such a reinscription of animality at the core of our cognition requires the assumption of certain theoretical shifts, which would lead to the expansion of a phenomenological approach such as the one used in this research. I argue that this series of shifts paves the way for an eco-phenomenological or topological treatment of the emergence of meaning among living beings. Based on this, I propose, as a result of this work, some categories of analysis (such as earth, inhabiting, dynamic field of affectuation) based on the use of the guiding notion of territory as an alternative to the phenomenological concept of world. This repositioning of the phenomenological approach, as ecophenomenology or topological phenomenology, leads us to glimpse at the center of our most essential cognitive experiences an embodied experience of communal, transpersonal, or ecosystemic constitution of sense | eng |
