Resumen
En la Institución Educativa Diego Echavarría Misas del Municipio de Medellín los estudiantes no practicaban la disposición correcta de los residuos sólidos, tal vez por la poca cultura y conocimientos en el manejo de los mismos, presentándose un problema de tipo ambiental que se debió intervenir. Para ello se diseñó una propuesta didáctica sobre el impacto ambiental de la disposición de residuos sólidos, como alternativa de educación ecológica en la institución educativa. La metodología empleada fue la actuación formativa, que es la intervención focalizada de los docentes sobre los estudiantes y demás miembros de la comunidad, enseñando contenidos teórico prácticos sobre la gestión ambiental integral a través de la lúdica. Esa enseñanza impactó positivamente en la cultura de los estudiantes y demás miembros de la comunidad educativa sobre el tema del manejo de los residuos sólidos y se desarrolló mediante la propuesta didáctica transversal que involucró la dinámica del uso racional de los recursos en armonía con el proyecto institucional de la gestión ambiental integral.
Abstract: At the Diego Echavarría Misas Educational Institution, in Medellin municipality, the students did not practice proper disposal of solid waste, perhaps due to their little culture and knowledge in handling them, thus presenting a problem of environmental type that had to be intervened. An educational proposal on the environmental impact of the disposal of solid waste, was designed; as an alternative of ecological education in the educational institution. The methodology used was the formative action, which is the focused intervention of teachers on students and other members of the educational community, teaching theoretical and practical content on the integrated environmental management, through games. That teaching had a positive impact on students’ culture and other members of the educational community on the management issue of solid waste and it was developed by cross-didactic approach involving the dynamics of rational use of resources in harmony with the institutional integrated environmental management Project.
