| spa |
| dc.description.abstract | “Collaborative Dynamics Among Stakeholders in the Caldas Innovation Ecosystem for Sustainability: An Exploratory Investigation.” This study examines collaborative dynamics among universities, businesses, government, and civil society within the Caldas innovation ecosystem, using the quadruple helix framework. Based on 25 semi-structured interviews, coded and analyzed with Atlas.ti, the research identified 20 codes grouped into facilitators and barriers shaping regional sustainability. Findings show that predominant facilitators—process improvement, inter-institutional collaboration, and applied knowledge—can drive significant transformations when strategically aligned. However, barriers such as high costs, lack of funding, bureaucracy, and regulatory constraints hinder project scalability. A set of recommendations is proposed at the public policy, organizational management, and 7 community participation levels to strengthen existing assets and reduce structural constraints. The study concludes that the ecosystem’s success will depend on its ability to make inter-institutional cooperation a permanent practice, supported by flexible policies, adequate financing, and an inclusive innovation culture. | eng |
