Mental health becoming increasingly recognized in society for its significant negative impact on quality of life, the importance of seeking new tools such as integrating the unicist homeopathic approach into an academic context is highlighted, providing evidence of its effect on complex emotional and physical symptoms. This clinical case presents a 35-year-old woman who presented with "two broken parts: her emotions and her gastrointestinal tract." She was diagnosed with mixed anxiety-depressive disorder, accompanied by long-standing functional gastrointestinal symptoms. Signs of self-demand, emotional sensitivity, disability, difficulty expressing affection, and feelings of abandonment were identified. Her individuality was analyzed, and unicist homeopathic treatment was initiated, with follow-up in a teaching-assistance setting. Mental health scales (HAM-D, HAM-A, DASS-21), a WHO quality of life measure, and an adapted Likert scale were applied to monitor symptom progression. Throughout the process, the patient showed progressive improvement, with greater emotional stability, fewer negative symptoms, anxiety and sleep, as well as improvement of her physical symptoms, in coherence with the principles of individuality, symptomatic totality and Hering's law of healing, all of the above objectified with the scores of the applied scales taken before, during and after homeopathic treatment. The patient reported high satisfaction with the treatment, observing an increase in her daily functioning, autonomy, and ability to manage emotional ties. During the therapeutic process, mild and transient homeopathic and pathogenetic aggravations occurred, interpreted as an expression of layered emotional unblocking, which were addressed. The entire process requires continued work on behalf of the patient with discipline and human quality.eng
