Lactosuero bovino como sustituto de antibióticos en la dieta de cerdos durante la etapa posdestete

dc.description.abstractSe evaluó el efecto del lactosuero bovino como sustituto de los antibióticos promotores de crecimiento (APC) en la dieta de lechones en la etapa de posdestete. Se utilizaron 48 lechones destetados de 21 días de edad. Se tomaron registros de control de peso al día 1, 8, 15 y 21 posdestete, se tomaron muestras de sangre al inicio y al final del ensayo, Se evaluó la presencia de diarreas diariamente. Los cerdos fueron alimentados con una dieta comercial para la etapa y fueron distribuidos en cuatro tratamientos: SASS; alimento comercial sin APC, sin adición de lactosuero, SACS; alimento comercial sin APC, con adición de lactosuero, CASS; alimento comercial con APC y adición de lactosuero, CACS; alimento comercial con APC y adición de lactosuero. Se empleó un diseño experimental factorial 2 x 2 (con y sin antibiótico, con y sin suero) con seis repeticiones por tratamiento. Para parámetros zootécnicos no se hallaron diferencias significativas entre tratamientos (P>0.05). Los animales del tratamiento CACS obtuvieron mejores parámetros zootécnicos, hematológicos y menor incidencia de diarreas, los tratamientos SACS y CASS observaron resultados similares en parámetros zootécnicos, la incidencia de diarreas no tuvo diferencias significativas; el tratamiento SASS obtuvo parámetros productivos más bajos y diferencias significativas (P<0.05) en el segundo conteo de glóbulos Blancos (CGB) y Hematocrito (HT) y mayor incidencia de diarreas (P<0.005) se concluye que la adición de lactosuero bovino a la dieta de lechones en posdestete tiene el mismo efecto en la ganancia de peso que los APC, demostrando así ser un sustituto de los APC en la fase de posdestete de lechones.spa
dc.description.abstractThe effect of bovine whey as a substitute for antibiotic growth promoters ( APC for its initials in Spanish) in the diet of piglets during the post-weaning stage was evaluated. Forty-eight 21-day-old weaned piglets were used. Weight control records were taken at day 1, 8, 15 and 21 post-weaning, blood samples were taken at the beginning and end of the trial, and the presence of diarrhea was evaluated daily. Pigs were fed a commercial diet for the stage and were distributed in four treatments: SASS (for its initials in Spanish); commercial feed without APC, without whey addition, SACS (for its initials in Spanish); commercial feed without APC, with whey addition, CASS (for its initials in Spanish); commercial feed with APC and whey addition, CACS; commercial feed with APC and whey addition. A 2 x 2 factorial experimental design was used (with and without antibiotic, with and without whey) with six replicates per treatment. For zootechnical parameters, no significant differences were found between treatments (P>0.05). The animals of the CACS treatment obtained better zootechnical and hematological parameters and lower incidence of diarrhea, the SACS and CASS treatments showed similar results in zootechnical parameters, the incidence of diarrhea had no significant differences; the SASS treatment obtained lower productive parameters and significant differences (P<0.05) in the second count. 05) in the second white blood cell count (WBC) and hematocrit (HT) and higher incidence of diarrhea (P<0.005).
