Resumen
Esta aproximación a los lineamientos de Astronomía como asignatura de la educación media, en su parte disciplinar,inicia con una breve revisión de la epistemología de las concepciones y los conceptos sobre los cuerpos celestes, donde se presentan los diversos aportes que contribuyeron a la noción actual; posteriormente, dentro de un marco conceptual básico, se haceuna descripción de características y propiedades específicas de astros como el Sol, los planetas y cuerpos menores, y una revisión detallada de la formación y evolución estelar. El componente pedagógico contiene una propuesta que resume las condiciones para llevar al aula de clase la asignatura de Astronomía teniendo en cuenta aspectos como metodología, ventajas, estrategias, condiciones del docente, sugerencia de actividades, ayudas didácticas, entre otros.
Abstract. This approach to the guidelines of Astronomy as a subject in secondary education, on its discipline, starts with a brief review on the epistemological conceptions and notions about celestial bodies, which presents the different contributions that supported to the current notion. It continues, within a basic framework, with a description of characteristics and properties of stars like the Sun, planets and smaller bodies and with a detailed review of the stars formation and evolution. Finally, the educational component contains a proposal which outlines the conditions to bring to the classroom the astronomy subject, taking into account issues such as methodology, advantages, strategies, teaching conditions, suggestions of activities, including teaching and learning tools.
