Diseño e implementación de un sistema genérico de monitoreo usando redes de sensores inalámbricos con el protocolo 6LoWPAN

Abstract

Esta tesis presenta el diseño e implementación de una Red de Sensores Inalámbricos usando el protocolo 6LoWPAN (adaptación entre IPv6 y 802.15.4) y el protocolo de enrutamiento RPL (Routing Protocol for Low-Power and Lossy Networks) con el fin de obtener un Sistema de monitoreo genérico que tenga la posibilidad de adaptar diferentes tipos de sensores a diferentes tipos de ambientes por medir. Así mismo que tenga la capacidad de interconectar una cantidad piloto de no dos formando una red eficiente, escalable, de reconstrucción automática y utilizando la menor cantidad de energía posible. El sistema fue empleado en la detección de luminosidad, temperatura y humedad en un cultivo urbano.

Abstract This thesis presents the desing and implementation of a Wireless Sensor Network using the 6LoWPAN protocol (Adaptation between IPv6 and 802.15.4) and the RPL (Routing Protocol for Low-Power and Lossy Networks) routing protocol with the objetive to build a Generic monitoring system that has the posibility of adapt different kinds of sensors to different kinds of environments to measure. At the same time the system has the ability to interconnect a pilot number of nodes forming an eficient, scalable, automatic reconstruction network, using the least amount of energy. The system was tested in the detection of lumi- nosity, temperature and humidity in a urban farming.
