Diseño de una propuesta didáctica para la enseñanza de métodos estadísticos descriptivos a través de experimentos

Abstract

Esta monografía parte de una investigación cualitativa que ha permitido crear una propuesta pedagógica basada en una unidad didáctica sobre la aplicabilidad de la estadística descriptiva, para los estudiantes del grado noveno de la I.E Donmatías, dada la necesidad de alcanzar en los educandos unos mejores resultados en las pruebas internas y externas y mejorar su habilidad para la solución de problemas cotidianos. Cabe señalar que en esta unidad didáctica confluye la teoría constructivista y de aprendizaje significativo, ya que están orientadas hacia la construcción e incorporación de conocimientos que hace el estudiante a su estructura mental y hacia la asociación de significados y representaciones relativas al nuevo contenido. Además, a través de esta estrategia se fortalece la utilización de elementos tecnológicos e informáticos que potencian y facilitan la aplicación de la estadística descriptiva en su cotidianidad. Se plantea igualmente, un plan curricular transversalizando esta temática, con el propósito de brindarle a los estudiantes desde las diferentes áreas mejores herramientas que faciliten la adquisición de conocimientos, la toma de decisiones, mayor asertividad y acceso a la información de manera oportuna y confiable. Para lograr dicho objetivo se parte de la experimentación científica y la comprensión e interpretación de ciertos fenómenos de su entorno.

Abstract: this monograph starts from a qualitative research which has allowed to create a pedagogical proposal based on a didactic unit for the applicability of the descriptive statistics for the ninth gradestudents at I.E. Donmatías, given the need to achieve better results in students in internal and external tests and improve their abilities to solve daily problems. Besides, it is stated a cross-curricular plan which tackles this issue with the purpose of giving the students better tools in different subjects which allow the knowledge acquisition, decision-making, best assertiveness, access to information in a timely and reliable way. To accomplish this objective, it starts from scientific experimentation, the comprehension and interpretation of certain phenomena in the context. It is worth marking this didactic unit is linked with the constructivist theories and meaningful learning due to they are targeted towards the building and incorporation of their mental structure, the meanings and representations related to a new content and the use of technological and computer devices which potentiate and facilitate the application of descriptive statistics in their daily activity.
