| dc.description.abstract | Globally, the use of renewable energy has grown significantly as part of strategies to mitigate the pollution that has intensified in recent years. The Paris Agreement, adopted by nearly all countries in the world, set the goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, making it essential for all sectors to accelerate the transition from conventional energy sources to clean alternatives. In Colombia, the UPME (2015) promoted small-scale self-generation, highlighting the advantages of solar photovoltaic energy over other forms of electricity generation due to its modularity, competitive costs, and ease of access. In this context, this research aims to identify the factors that influence the acceptance of solar photovoltaic technology in manufacturing organizations in Bogotá, using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) proposed by Venkatesh et al. (2012). To this end, variables such as performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, social influence, habit, hedonic motivation, and price value were evaluated, analyzing their effect on the use and intention to use this technology. The analysis was conducted through a survey based on the UTAUT2 model, and PLS-SEM was used for data processing. The results revealed that social influence, hedonic motivation, and habit are related to the intention to use, while facilitating conditions and habit have a direct relationship with the use of the technology. | eng |
