dc.description.abstract	Presentamos aquí los resultados de los estudios taxonom1cos, ecológicos y morfológicos de seis familias de Pteridofitos, y aunque hemos tenido la oportunidad de observa.r material de otros países, debemos aclarar que nos referiremos muy específicamente a plantas colombianas. El tratamiento taxonómico que hemos escogido para nuestros seis Géneros, es el observado por RoooLFO E. G. P1cHr SERMOLLI (1977). La razón por la cual adoptamos ese criterio fue precisamente en función de los caracteres de las plantas; considero que cada uno de los Géneros encierra suficientes rasgos como para formar una familia aparte.
