Estilos y capacidades de liderazgo en entornos de teletrabajo en las áreas administrativa y contable de un holding empresarial en Colombia

| dc.description.abstract | El teletrabajo ha cobrado relevancia como respuesta a los cambios tecnológicos y a las demandas del mercado laboral, especialmente durante la pandemia de COVID-19 en Colombia. A pesar del regreso a la modalidad presencial en 2022, la crisis destacó la importancia del liderazgo efectivo en entornos de teletrabajo. Este estudio se enfoca en la relación entre los estilos de liderazgo y las capacidades de liderazgo en contextos de teletrabajo en las áreas administrativas y contables de un holding empresarial colombiano que ha implementado exitosamente esta modalidad. Basándose en el modelo de rango total de liderazgo y el modelo de capacidades de liderazgo en entornos de teletrabajo, se aborda la intersección entre los estilos de liderazgo y las competencias necesarias para liderar eficazmente en un entorno de teletrabajo, de esta forma se busca responder a la pregunta: ¿Cuál es la relación entre los estilos de liderazgo y las capacidades de liderazgo en esta modalidad? Para abordar esta cuestión, se realizaron encuestas virtuales. Los resultados indican que el liderazgo transformacional es el más predominante, con un 65% de los colaboradores reconociendo este estilo en sus líderes. En contraste, el liderazgo laissez-faire se presenta con baja frecuencia, lo que contribuye de manera positiva a la satisfacción y efectividad del equipo. Además, se identifica una correlación positiva entre las capacidades de liderazgo y el estilo transformacional. | dc.description.abstract | Telework has gained prominence as a response to technological changes and labor market demands, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic in Colombia. Despite the return to face-to-face mode in 2022, the crisis highlighted the importance of effective leadership in telework environments. This study focuses on the relationship between leadership styles and leadership capabilities in telework contexts in the administrative and accounting areas of a Colombian holding company that has successfully implemented this modality. Based on the model of total range of leadership and the model of leadership capabilities in telework environments, the intersection between leadership styles and the competencies needed to lead effectively in a telework environment is addressed, thus seeking to answer the question: What is the relationship between leadership styles and leadership capabilities in this modality? To address this issue, virtual surveys were conducted. The results indicate that transformational leadership is the most predominant, with 65% of employees recognizing this style in their leaders. In contrast, laissez-faire leadership is presented with low frequency, which contributes positively to team satisfaction and effectiveness. In addition, a positive correlation between leadership skills and transformational style is identified.
