Luego, en la tercera parte, se analizan las diferencias que hay entre estas dos clases de estados mentales y se finaliza mostrando cómo estas consideraciones encuentran resonancia en estudios provenientes de la neurociencia contemporánea. dc.description.abstractThe present paper aims, in the first part, to define the notions of “mind,” “mental state,” “mental content,” and “intentionality” in order to provide the foundational concepts that support the understanding of the rest of the text. In the second part, the more specific notions of conscious and non-conscious mental states are defined within the theoretical framework established in the first part, and it is shown how both types of states share the general structure of the mental. Then, in the third part, the differences between these two classes of mental states are analyzed, and the paper concludes by showing how these considerations resonate with findings from contemporary neuroscience.eng
