Los estudios ambientales y el principio de responsabilidad han limitado el papel de lo humano al análisis y prevención de la apropiación y la contaminación, con una consideración del “otro” unas veces como factor contaminante, y otras, como categoría asociada al futuro en la que el “otro” es un ente que aún no existe. Esta investigación avanza entonces, en un concepto de responsabilidad ambiental que incorpore una visión del otro donde prime la solidaridad y se desarrolle el cuidado ambiental como protección del ser humano, cuya expresión real son las generaciones actuales, tomando la idea de una sociedad bien organizada según John Rawls, por tratarse de un sistema equitativo de cooperación social a lo largo del tiempo de una generación a la siguiente. Abstract
Environmental studies and the principle of responsibility have limited the role of the human to the analysis and prevention of appropriation and contamination with a consideration of the "other" sometimes as contaminant factor, and others, as a category that refers to the future where the "other" is an entity that does not exist yet. This research advances in the concept of environmental responsibility incorporating a vision of the "other" where solidarity prevails and environmental care that associated with the protection of human beings, whose real expression are present generations, taking the idea of a well-organized society as John Rawls, for being a fair system of social cooperation over time from one generation to the next.
