Esta investigación detalla los procedimientos para invitar a replicarlo en otros sectores del país y a diferentes escalas, una vez que los insumos espaciales, son accesibles a cualquier entidad territorial. dc.description.abstractNatural and human systems are integrated coupled systems, product of complex interactions and feedback, which change from one state to another, over time and in space. These interactions have not been entirely harmonious, as human activities and their impact have become the main driving force behind global, regional and local ecosystem degradation, resulting in disruption of ecosystem functioning and the ecosystem services it provides. Understanding the human impact on natural systems requires an adequate representation of modified landscapes and an explanation of the relationships between socio-economic and biophysical factors. This study quantifies the human footprint in local landscapes, with a case study in the Túa river basin (Casanare - Colombia). Besides including 14 geographical indicators of human influence that operate on a local scale, the study also evaluates the incorporation of the biophysical vulnerability index in the human footprint equation. In addition, it evaluates the correspondence between human footprint results and land use and management, both defined in the planning instrument (POMCA). The study concludes that the Túa River Basin is heavily transformed, since it only maintains 2.5% of its territory without a human footprint and 46% of its total area has a high human footprint. This is mainly concentrated on terraced landscapes and alluvial plains made up of natural savannas, replaced mainly by grasslands for extensive cattle ranching. The incorporation of the biophysical vulnerability dimension is complementary in human footprint analysis, and allows us to understand, in part, the relative resilience of the system, essential for territorial management. This research details the procedures to invite its replication in other sectors of the country and at different scales, once the spatial inputs are accessible to any territorial entity.eng
