Resumen
El objetivo de este artículo es revisar las contribuciones que la perspectiva de género ha producido al analizar el sesgo androcéntrico de la antropología filosófica. Se detecta, a este respecto, la contradicción entre la pretensión irrestricta de la universalidad que acoge todo lo humano y la constante en la historia de la filosofía de excluir a las mujeres de la igual consideración como seres humanos. Más que de antropología deberíamos hablar de andrología. Dada esta exclusión, los resultados de la indagación acerca del ser humano quedan lastrados. El tratamiento de la historicidad, de la materialidad y de la experiencia de las mujeres son las zonas no exploradas con anterioridad que emergen al analizar cómo ha operado la diferencia sexual. La perspectiva de las mujeres filósofas es imprescindible para revisar la misma noción de sujeto y lograr erradicar su predeterminación masculina.
Abstract: The aim of this paper is to revise the androcentric bias found in philosophical anthropology, especially the presumption of universality and the constant tendency in the history of philosophy to disallow women the same consideration as men. Instead of anthropology it may be called «andrology». Such exclusion thwarts the very goals of philosophical anthropology. Only with the treatment of the historicity, materiality and experience of women, unexplored areas thus far, will allow an effective analysis of the operations of sexual difference. The perspective of women philosophers is crucial for rethinking the notion of the subject unhampered by androcentrism.
