Abstract

Niebla “somos perros obsesionados por marcar su territorio”

El concepto de Niebla juega entonces en doble sentido, primero a partir de la relacion que proyecto en los recorridos constantes con mi perra y su formas instintiva de habitar, lo cual me permite expandiendo mis sentidos dejando de lado lo racional o cultural que designa mi entendimiento del territorio. A si mismo, Nibla como algo incontenible, sin limite presente, borroso en imagen y que habita constantemente el espacio como una zona, un entre que no tiene principio ni final, el intervalo que permite detenerse a mirar como la línea y el trazo en el espacio tiene resquicios que aún nos permite redefinir el habitar un territorio.

(Niebla - 2021) se despliega como acción de búsqueda, registro y captura de la niebla, se da en la interfaz del video como encuentro en la distancia, como límite entre ojo y objetivo, paraje y territorio, paisaje y cultura. Como gesto final se materializa en una instalacion que consiste en un Video proyección sobre una valla publicitaria en desuso y sonidos ambiente que se entrecruzan con audios pronuncia el nombre mi perra Niebla. "we are obsessed dogs to mark out our territory"

The concept of fog takes place in a two-way, first, based on the relationship that I project in the constant walks with my dog and her instinctive ways of inhabiting, which allows me, expanding my senses, leaving behind the rational or cultural that designates my understanding of the territory. Moreover, Niebla like something uncontainable, without a permanent confine, blurry in image and that constantly inhabits space like a zone, something that doesn’t have a beginning nor an end, the interval that allows to stop and look how the line and the stroke in space has cracks that still allows us to redefine the inhabitance in a territory.

Niebla / 2021 It unfolds like a search action, register and capture of the fog, it occurs within the video’s interface as a finding in the distance, like the limit between eye and object, site and territory, landscape and culture. As a final gesture it materializes in an installation based on a video projection over an unused billboard and ambient sounds that intertwine with audios that pronounce the name of my dog, Niebla.
